BAD DECISIONS

I must look ready to make bad decisions

I must look wonderful to tonight

You rolled up on me with tunnel vision

But baby don’t turn on the light

I should’ve stayed home and watched television

I should’ve tried not to drink

I should’ve kept your key out of my ignition

And not care what nobody thinks

It was rainin’ on the court steps, I had a feelin’ I was slipping away

Can’t remember last time I slept, but believe me

It won’t be today, there’s no way

I got a thing for walkin’ contradictions

You feel right as rain

Never been good at taming my addictions

But I sure can stay in the game

From the hotel to the airport, I had a feelin’ I was slipping a way

One day you’ll find me on a seashore doing my healin’,

Without hell to pay, one fine day…

I wanna thank you for your attention

Considering all my crimes

I just don’t take well to interventions

In light of these challenging times

It was rainin’ on the court steps, I had a feelin’ I was slippin away

One day you’ll find me on a seashore doing my healin’ without hell to pay..

Marking the end of the cold war, ready and willin’, to seize the day,

I’m on my way
